The king of england was a very mean guy. He wanted every one that was in the states to still answer him, the colonies fought for there rights. Some acts the king put in play is Grenville,townsend, coercive, and the proclamation acts, made it so they could only use english money and they couldnt have town meeting because the king was tring to take there rights away
